Not too much creative time this week, but now the spring cleaning has been tackled I'm back on track. Picture above is my rather small scale drawing of the centre piece for my first ever quilt. I had to employ the help of my rather technically minded hubby last night to scale it up to full 14 inch size. I'm now just waiting on the fabrics I ordered yesterday to arrive so I can start making this elephant, I'm really excited!!
Don't forget to pop over to {Kirsty's} for more creative spaces!

The zebra is very cute. I have just started a patchwork playmat/quilt. My pieces are cut out ready to start. Looking forward to seeing yours.
Very cute zebra. Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking time to leave a comment.
Lovely Mr Zebra. Yes tiny hands do find a way of ripping off buttons and decorations!
Your little zebra is adorable and I am very curious to see how the elephant quilt turns out.
Hi Tracey - that is a very sweet little zebra! And your elephant centrepiece looks very promising! My little girl is 17 months and for some reason has a growing collection of elephants (not planned in any way!) - so an elephant quilt could be quite fitting for her too! Look forward to seeing how yours goes.
I'm loving your sock zebra... he's fab!
