My latest addition to my NY album. I was so pleased that I kept my quotation book from Uni (it's huge!!) as I found the perfect quote in there.. it went well with the pictures and fit perfectly in the space I had left!
Not sure that it will come out clearly enough so here's what it says:
"In architecture as in all operative ART the end must direct the operation. The end is to build well. Well building hath three conditions. Commodity, firmness and DELIGHT." Sir Henry Wotton, Elements of Architecture, 1624.
